The Conure. Also, more commonly known by scientists as the Parrot. Wait what? I’ve googled, and I’m still not entirely sure why the word Conure is used, or by whom, but as far as I can tell it refers to a vibe. Is your Parrot on the small size? Or a bit chunky for a Parakeet? Gaudy? Acts like a clown? Sounds well Conure mate. Apparently, if you’re looking for a clever, cheerful little buddy that makes you laugh, a Conure is for you. I’m sorry, but who doesn’t want that? I imagine it’s like having a tiny, well dressed, Kevin Hart in the corner of your lounge all day. And, if that wasn’t enough, you might be able to teach it to swear? Maybe I should get one! Oh…. hang on. They can live up to 35 years and their screech can be heard from literally miles away. Sorry Kevin, I’m out.
